Just north of St. John's is a small community called Quidi Vidi. (There are several theories as to where the name comes
from, but no one really knows.) This brewery makes a great beer called 1892 (after the year of a fire which destroyed
much of St. John's). Sadly, the brewery's most popular brews are similar to Coors and Coors light, because that's
what 60% of Newfoundlanders drink. The area surrounding the brewery is beautiful. It's a photographer's dream.
