Cupid is the site of a colony started by John Guy, who came from Bristol, England. The site is in a man's backyard.
Apparently, he was unable to grow potatoes in his rocky back yard, so when archaeologists asked to excavate
because records suggested there "might" be ruins in his yard, he was thrilled. Indeed, the ruins were there.
They run into a neighbor's yard; unfortunately, the neighbor hasn't cooperated with the archaeologists, and has
posted "No Trespassing" signs. As the archeologists dig through the site, they photograph,
collect artifacts, then re-bury the site and continue on to the next location.
